Once again, one of the country’s biggest names in office and printing equipment took part in Manila’s largest printing exhibit of the year.
Copylandia Office Systems Corporation boasted one of the biggest booths in the recently concluded Print & Label Manila 2014. The event took place from October 9 to 11 and was held in SMX Convention Center Manila, beside Mall of Asia.
The 3-day event was the first time Copylandia brought along the famous ComColor Bus. The specially modified coaster acts as a mobile showroom for the groundbreaking ComColor line of inkjet printers by RISO, the world’s fastest full-color inkjet printers with the lowest printing cost. Copylandia proudly showcased the first ComColor Bus, which has toured the country from as far north as Vigan to as far south as GenSan.
Visitors were treated to an audio-visual presentation and onboard tour, as well as the option to book their own ComColor Bus demonstration. Guests who booked a demo were eligible for the Pick-a-Prize promo, for a chance to win RISO branded giveaways.
Apart from the bus, Copylandia brought along the full-color ComColor 9150 and the new two-color ComColor 2150. The 2150 is a red-and-black inkjet printer that boasts all the features of its bigger brother, such as 150ppm printing speed, automatic collating, and built-in numbering function, while carrying a lower price tag.
Copylandia’s sprawling 126sqm was also home to world-class names in printing and finishing equipment. Among the brands displayed were the well-known RISO digital duplicators from Japan. These included the new RISO A2, the world’s first and only A2-size digital duplicator. The new duplicator is set to revolutionize the printing industry by enabling large-format documents like tabloid newspapers to be mass-produced at low cost.
For businesses that require high-quality photographic output, Copylandia brought along the Develop line of digital production presses from Germany. On display were the Develop ineo+8000, a digital alternative to traditional offset presses, and the Develop ineo+70hc, a compact photolab solution that boasts ultra-HD RGB capabilities. Customers who purchased the production machines were treated to a free Apple iMac or MacBook Air courtesy of Develop.
Rounding out the state-of-the-art machines were the KIP 7170 digital blueprint printer, Horizon’s line of binding and finishing machines, and HSM industrial-quality balers from Germany.
Copylandia President and CEO Feliciano Juarez Jr. and Executive VP and Co-founder Bernadette Juarez personally interacted with customers and visitors, while RISO Sales Manager Junichiro Sato flew in from Tokyo for the event. Also on-hand were NCR Sales Manager Margie Pascual, Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications Avin Ugay, and Technical Manager Gio Aurelio.
The three-day exhibit is the last Print & Label event for the year. Copylandia was also present for Digiprint Manila which took place on March, Print & Label Cebu in July, and Print & Label Davao held last September.
