Copylandia Office Systems Corporation, one of the country’s foremost names in office and printing equipment, was a proud participant in Print & Label Davao 2014.

Held last September 4-6, Print & Label Davao is the largest printing exhibition for Mindanao. Over 200 companies from the print, packaging and plastic industries took part in the 3-day event held at the SMX Convention Center in SM Lanang, Davao City.

On hand for the exhibit were Erben Garrido, Copylandia Davao branch manager, and Joseph Botea, branch manager for Copylandia GenSan. They were joined by Avin Ugay, Copylandia’s Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications. The booth was manned by a handpicked team of solutions consultants and service engineers from the Davao  branch, along with a crack team of technical specialists who flew in from Manila.

As one of the largest booths in the exhibit, Copylandia showcased the latest in digital print technologies. Among the state-of-the-art machines were the RISO ComColor 9150, the world’s fastest full-color inkjet printer with the lowest cost per print, as well as its smaller cousin ComColor 2150, a red-and-black inkjet printer with automatic numbering and collating functions.

Also on display were the new RISO A2 duplicator and KIP 7170 blueprint printer. The RISO A2 is the world’s first and only digital duplicator capable of handling A2-size copies. The new duplicator is set to revolutionize the printing industry by greatly improving cost, speed and efficiency for large-format documents, benefiting industries like newspaper publishers, printing presses and government bureaus. Meanwhile, the KIP 7170 is an ammonia-free digital blueprint printer capable of producing high-resolution blueprints that do not fade.

Commercial printers were treated to an onsite demo of the DEVELOP ineo+70hc, a compact digital photo press solution that can print ultra-HD pictures and photobooks in a wide variety of paperstocks.

Rounding out the Copylandia booth were copying and finishing equipment from world-class brands. These included RISO digital duplicators, Horizon cutters and binders, and GBC laminators.
